Description

Adult male parents/guardians who self-identify as fathers and are members of Generation X. Inclusion criteria: - Born 1965–1980 - Self-identify as a father (biological, adoptive, step, or primary father figure) - Currently cohabiting with and/or providing regular care for at least one child in the Child Cohort - Able to complete survey measures in English - Has experienced at least one instance of: audible sighing, “back in my day” storytelling, or unexplained retreat to garage/outdoors (self-reported) Exclusion criteria: - Not currently parenting or regularly interacting with a child under 25 - Declines to acknowledge the thermostat as a shared resource - Reports “I am completely unbothered at all times” with no observable evidence
