Description

Inclusion criteria: - Age 6–24 (covers late Gen Z through Gen Alpha; adjustable) - Child of / living with / in regular contact with a father enrolled in Cohort 1 - Typical exposure to household digital environments (phones/tablets/gaming/streaming) - Consent/assent obtained as appropriate by age (or, in satire mode: “begrudging acknowledgment”) Exclusion criteria: - Not linked to an enrolled father participant - Lives independently with minimal contact - Demonstrates unusually calming presence (rare but noted) Key measures (examples): Frequency of “why” questioning (self or father-reported), device/audio initiation behaviors, perceived parent-child communication quality, and routine household noise generation.
